{"id":874,"date":"2024-08-17T07:25:09","date_gmt":"2024-08-17T07:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooking.catherineliew.com\/?p=874"},"modified":"2024-08-17T07:25:09","modified_gmt":"2024-08-17T07:25:09","slug":"cooking-hibachi-on-the-jobsite","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooking.catherineliew.com\/?p=874","title":{"rendered":"Cooking Hibachi On The Jobsite"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We hired a Hibachi chef to come out to the jobsite and cook lunch- He was like, \u201cwhere\u2019s your grill?\u201d<br \/>\nI just pointed and said \u201cright here\u201d &#8211; we\u2019re going to use the skid steer bucket.<br \/>\nI set it up on some blocks and put a propane torch underneath for heat.<br \/>\nThis guy was so fast it was awesome to watch- I should hire him to frame my next house- it\u2019s be done in like a day and a half.<br \/>\nHe started out by frying eggs for the rice- it got seasoned with salt, pepper, and plenty of soy sauce.<br \/>\nWith all the stuff he brought he actually forgot a knife- so I gave him my Milwaukee fastback, and it worked pretty good.<br \/>\nNext he threw on some scallops and shrimp. I was impressed with how many different types of food he was cooking at one time.<br \/>\nWe could tell this wasn\u2019t his first day on the job.<br \/>\nThe food was amazing, we ate it right off the grill.<br \/>\nMy favorite had to be the lobster- with tons of butter.<br \/>\nFinally, he grilled up some sirloin steak.<br \/>\nThis was so much fun we would definitely do it again.<br \/>\nEveryone got more than enough food- especially the new guy.
