You could use most tomatoes. Except evil ones<br \/>\nAdd in a teaspoon of salt&#8230;but probably two<br \/>\nAdd in some cumin if you feel like it (a couple teaspoons ish)<br \/>\nAdd in some oregano, or Mexican oregano, or as they call it in Mexico,: or\u00e9gano<br \/>\nGet that cauldron bubbling until you can feel the spirits fill the room<br \/>\nAdd in 3 chicken breasts and simmer for 25 minutes<br \/>\nTake the pot off the heat and take the chicken breasts out and shred<br \/>\nOnce the sauce has cooled enough use a stick blender to make it smooth<br \/>\nAdd the shreds back in<br \/>\nAdjust the salt and cook it until it&#8217;s a consistency you like<br \/>\nMake sure to fry your tortillas<br \/>\nAdd some chicken, lime crema, avocado, cilantro, and cotija cheese<br \/>\nAccept your award for Excellent in Pot Size Estimation<br \/>\nTry not to brag too much to your friends because some people really struggle with estimating liquid volume and it&#8217;s not fair that you were born with such a tremendous gift.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chicken Tinga tacos are my favorite Mexican food and Mexican food is my favorite food.
